ASB stands for Associated Student Body.
Also known as a Student Council or Student Government.
Homeschool ASB is a student leadership group that is for Homeschool students, by homeschool students.
Homeschool ASB gives students the chance to brainstorm, plan, and execute valuable programming opportunities for fellow homeschoolers. Here are a few examples of Homeschool ASB activities:
Most schools have some kind of ASB. This is yours. Homeschool Style!
Homeschool ASB is like a "Hub" that connects Homeschoolers from lots of different homeschool groups into a super-fun and super-powered, educational, student-led organization.
ASB leadership positions are open to middle and high-school homeschoolers, but the activities are for homeschoolers of all ages!
ASB student leaders help promote, set-up, run and cleanup all the different homeschool events.
Homeschool ASB does not replace any existing programming parents already know and love.
Homeschool ASB gives student-leaders the chance to create additional homeschool experiences with their homeschool peers.
A homeschool parent advisory panel oversees all programming and leadership meetings. Meeting minutes are reviewed and approved by homeschool parents. All homeschool ASB parents are welcome and encouraged to participate ensuring transparency, wellbeing, and fairness for all.
Our homeschool ASB "Chaplin" is approved by both students and parents to assist with any special situations.
